Punjabi Ghasitaram Sweets was established in 1916 in Karachi, Pakistan. The company was started by the Late Shri Ghasitaramji Bajaj in Karachi, Pakistan, and hence the Brand name “GHASITARAM”. After the partition of 1947, his son Shri Goverdhandas Bajaj had to leave the sprawling business setup
behind and moved with nothing, but his skills to earn his daily livelihood to the upcoming city of Bombay. Under his proficient guidance the business grew and our first retail set up was in Bibijan Street, Mumbai. Since then, under the able guidance of Mr.Goverdhandas Ghasitaram Bajaj’s eldest son Late Mr. Prem Bajaj ,the firm has grew to many shop cum restaurants in Mumbai, and a resort on the outskirts of Mumbai . It was not only the trade receipes that were passed down by the Grandfather to the Grandson, but also the hands on skills imbeded into them that make the team of Maniish Prem Bajaj and Manav Prem Bajaj, the eldest of the 4th Generations where they are. The qualifications include a BCom, MBA, Part CFA, Food Production from IHM. Mumbai, an International Scholarship from The International Hotel and Restaurant Association being one amongst fifteen chosen in the world.

The business is now managed by Late Prem Bajaj’s sons, Mr. Maniish Prem Bajaj, Mr. Manav Prem Bajaj with Ecommerce being executed by Mrs.Rima Manav Bajaj .
